Where in-app coupons live

Look in the coupons or offers section of your Temu account — usually reachable from your profile — plus the pop-ups the app shows on the home screen. Coupons you claim get stored there with their discount, minimum spend, and an expiry countdown. If a pop-up offers you a coupon, claiming it costs nothing; it just sits in your account until it expires or you use it.

How they differ from promo codes

A promo code is something you type or paste at checkout. An in-app coupon is already attached to your account, and Temu usually applies the best eligible one automatically at checkout — or lets you pick between eligible coupons on the payment screen. That's why sometimes a discount appears without you doing anything: an in-app coupon kicked in.

When they stack with codes

Temu generally accepts one typed promo code per order — but in many cases an in-app coupon can apply on the same order as a code, along with lightning-deal pricing and any credit balance. The reliable way to know is the order summary: apply the code, confirm the coupon is still selected, and check that both reductions show in the total before paying. If applying one removes the other, Temu is telling you those two offers don't combine.

Making the countdowns work for you, not on you

Coupon timers are designed to hurry you. The counter-move is simple: don't claim time-limited bundles until you actually intend to shop, so the clock starts when you're ready — and never buy something you didn't want just because a coupon is expiring. A discount on an unwanted item is a 100% loss, not a saving.
